Fancy a Cuppa? Introducing our Worker's Blend Tea

What with the Christmas rush, new products being launched and numerous photoshoots, here at Camden Watch HQ we feel as though we haven't made enough of a fuss about something. And this deserves a fuss.

Because we have made our own signature blend of tea.

It all started when we began work designing our Worker Mugs. We had the far-fetched idea that it would be cool to be able to offer tea with our mugs. But you see, we don’t like to do things by halves. If we were going to sell tea then it would have to be special, it would have to be our own tea.

It was a crazy idea. We didn’t have enough time. We didn’t have enough budget. And how on earth do you make your own tea blend anyway? Like I said, crazy.

But it just so happens that we know a British tea company who are just as crazy as we are.

So we got in touch with our friends over at Brew Tea Co. and they loved the idea. After months of blending, tasting, designing labels and sipping on cups of tea, we finally have our very own signature blend.

So, without further ado, I present to you the Worker’s Blend loose leaf tea. 80% Assam and 20% Lapsang Suchoung, it’s smokey, rich and oh so Camden.

It' a strong, earthy blend that will take you back in time to a Victorian Camden, where canal workers, railway men and raffish aristocrats lived, worked and drank side by side.

Oh and... if you infuse it in gin, it makes the BEST gin and tonics.

Produced in four batches of 50, each batch sold out fast, and ever since we have received emails and messages asking us if by any chance we've held any back (we haven't), or even if it was possible buy our very own edition (it isn't).

Camden and its market are ever changing, just as the rest of London is evolving, but somehow you can still feel the echoes of Camden's history. Most notably, and perhaps one of the main reasons people visit Camden, is its fundamental place in London's punk scene.
