Things We're Loving This February

It’s time to say goodbye to post-Christmas sales and move out of the January blues. To celebrate the start of February, we’ve pulled together a list of five things we’re loving at the moment. From festivals to favourite tipples, we hope you’ll find something to make your heart sing this month.

Vault Festival

"Eight weeks of theatre and comedy, immersive experiences, cabaret, live performance and late-night parties." We absolutely love the annual Vault Festival that takes place in Waterloo, London. Every year we take the entire team here at Camden Watch Co. to enjoy a night underground watching one of the many entertaining shows, followed by drink and food in the bar. See the full calendar of shows here

Dishoom Breakfast

Being avid loyalty card holders of Dishoom, you can definitely call us regulars. During these cold mornings, we can often be found craving the wholesome pairing of their infamous bacon naan and bottomless chai.

Cake from Victoria Yum

There's always time for cake. This February, we are loving Victoria Yum and their 'looks too good to eat' (but we still eat them) selection of cakes. We like to go straight to the source and find them in Netil Market on Saturdays, but if you can't manage to get your hands on them, enjoy a feast for your eyes by scrolling through their instagram feed.

Half Hitch Gin

Dry January done. Time to celebrate. We are very keen gin drinkers (we've even made our very own tea-infused gin). Our current fave is Half Hitch that combines three of our favourite things - gin, Camden and using history to influence product design. Cheers to that.

Courier Magazine

Last month we visited the Courier pop-up - a magazine that celebrates modern business. A premium and beautifully put together editorial that always finds unique perspectives and stories to cover. Certainly one to have on your coffee table this month.

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, find gift inspiration with our Instagram feed. We showcase people wearing and loving our watches all over the world.

Peace and love, Team Camden.

Camden and its market are ever changing, just as the rest of London is evolving, but somehow you can still feel the echoes of Camden's history. Most notably, and perhaps one of the main reasons people visit Camden, is its fundamental place in London's punk scene.

Recently one of our favourite magazines, Courier, held their second annual ‘Courier Live’ event at Republic London.

It was a great day featuring a ton of cool business, from jacket makers who sell out within minutes, to healthy juices and brutally honest greetings cards. If you weren’t able to go then we thoroughly recommend joining next year.

If you know anything about Camden Market, you probably already know that it’s a hub for vintage and alternative fashion. Camden Market is, and was, one of the best places to go for independent fashion brands, well-kept vintage pieces, and alternative style.

From mod to punk, cybergoth to bohemia, modern and vintage fashion blended together, inspired by the music and culture coming out of Camden.
