The September Round-Up - What to do in Camden

If you often find yourself around the Camden area then you’re bound to have noticed the beautiful places and amazing restaurants and cafés it has to offer. If you haven’t yet or wish to discover some more, then read on because we are about to share with you the 3 things we loved doing around Camden this month.

I. Walking around the new King’s Cross development

Kings Cross New Developement Camden Walk

As we headed out for a walk along the canal, we couldn’t help but notice the how nicely the new development at King’s Cross is coming along. Not only does it look amazing, but it’s also refreshing to see the old Victorian buildings being given a new lease of life. If you fancy a different kind of walk around Camden, head along Regent's Canal towards King's Cross and take a look at the Gasholders and newly developed area around Granary Square.

II. Lunch at The Lock Tavern

Lock Tavern Chalk Farm Road

Ok, so summer is official over, which means no more beers out on the terrace or Pimms on the rooftop, but if you are looking for a place that offers great deals and delicious confort food (think pie and a pint for a tenner), The Lock Tavern on Chalk Farm Road is the place to go! Plus, their salads not only taste great but look great too!

III. Drinks at Gabeto

Gabbed Camden Market London Drinks Brunch Breakfast

The lovely team at Gabeto invited us for a breakfast/brunch this month in Camden Market. And we must say we were pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty, but above all the coffee and smoothies were great! If you looking for a calm spot to retire to in between your shopping, we definitely recommend it!.

We hoped that you will like these places as much as we did, and stay tuned for more to come at the end of next month!

Back in late 2016, we launched what our first ever Limited Edition watch. Based on Tom Sayers, a champion bare-knuckle boxer from Camden, it was a steel No.88 with a black dial limited to 200 pieces, and we loved it.

Produced in four batches of 50, each batch sold out fast, and ever since we have received emails and messages asking us if by any chance we've held any back (we haven't), or even if it was possible buy our very own edition (it isn't).

Camden and its market are ever changing, just as the rest of London is evolving, but somehow you can still feel the echoes of Camden's history. Most notably, and perhaps one of the main reasons people visit Camden, is its fundamental place in London's punk scene.
